Is there a Mac alternative to SciTE or Notepad++?
What are some text editors that are similar to Sintilla/SciTE or Notepad++ that can be installed on a Mac without a hack? Something with syntax highlighting...
You don't like the Developer Tools code editor (which does a heck of a lot more than syntax highlighting)?
Personally, I'm a vi guy and of course both vi and emacs have this.
You could always try the OSX port of the gedit editor:

Coda or Sublime Text 2. I've been using sb2 for web crap lately. It's pretty solid.

BBEdit is commonly used by developers on the Mac. TextEdit is Mac general text editor.
there is the emacs and vi which are great options, but there is also the textMate editor that is not free but not that expensive
there is a lot of other suggestions at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2512 … ternatives

It now only seems to work for Amazon.I noticed this a few weeks ago and...
